Director, Performance Suite Analytics

Evolent is seeking a Director of Performance Suite Analytics to lead analytics initiatives supporting value-based care, risk management, and organizational performance in healthcare.
Location: Remote (US)
Salary: $130,000–$145,000/yr
Responsibilities
- Leading the analytics partnership with Business Development & Product teams for value-based care pursuits.
- Serving as a strategic partner for analytics related to capitated risk proposals, including cost & use projections and quality improvement.
- Leading analysis of cost and utilization data to assess risks of healthcare arrangements.
- Partnering with actuarial, finance, and analytics teams to incorporate new products and strategies into models.
- Developing analytical models and presenting complex analyses to stakeholders.
- Assisting in budget and forecast development for new business relationships.
- Collaborating with departments to establish best practices and efficient workstreams.
- Using programming skills to analyze large data volumes with minimal oversight.
- Leading interactions with customers to foster trust and cooperation.
- Collaborating with internal/external customers to understand problems, perform statistical analysis, and create reports/dashboards.
- Managing, mentoring, and coaching analysts, setting goals, and measuring performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or healthcare-related field.
- At least 5 years of healthcare claims analytics experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare claims, billing, and reimbursement methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL or SAS, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in data mining, statistical analysis, and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of healthcare financial cycles, quality reporting, and benchmarking.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Prior people management experience.
- Master's Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Experience in medical economics, utilization management, or clinical vendor management (preferred).
- Knowledge of healthcare underwriting, value-based care, and utilization management.
- Understanding of data systems and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Python, R, SAS, Hadoop, AWS, ArcGIS, Power BI, Visual Basic (preferred).
