Director of Market Development

The Director of Market Development is responsible for developing and executing engagement strategies for stakeholders to support data center projects, enhance community relations, and ensure regulatory approval. The role requires strategic thinking, public policy knowledge, media relations, and community engagement within the technology and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development team to secure approval for data center sites and ensure long-term operational conditions.
• Develop and implement market development roadmaps to support business objectives.
• Foster relationships with local and state communities.
• Create strategic communication plans for projects.
• Maintain license to operate through strategic advisory.
• Support media relations and develop press materials.
• Build relationships with government officials, industry associations, and community leaders.
• Develop talking points and communication plans for public approvals.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and speeches.
