The Director of Field Sales, Navy and Marine Corps, is a senior sales leader responsible for driving personal sales performance and leading a team of field sales managers and representatives within the DoD and Federal markets. The role involves direct customer engagement, strategic territory management, and sales execution, with a focus on revenue contribution, team development, and market understanding.

Responsibilities
- Contribute directly to revenue generation and support overall field sales performance.
- Partner with leadership to execute sales strategy, territory coverage, and performance priorities.
- Support sales team through coaching, deal strategy, and escalation support.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans.
- Maintain and manage sales pipeline of opportunities, quotes, and orders.
- Drive opportunity progression from identification to order execution.
- Maintain direct customer relationships and participate in key deals and complex sales efforts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with end users, contracting offices, and stakeholders.
- Conduct customer visits, briefings, and solution discussions.
- Identify customer needs and translate into product and service solutions.
- Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts.
- Maintain knowledge of DoD budget cycles, funding mechanisms, and customer programs.
- Monitor customer programs, funding timelines, and mission priorities.
- Coordinate with strategy, business development, and capture teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate vendor relationships, ride-alongs, and product demos.
- Communicate market trends and customer feedback to leadership.
- Mentor and support field sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
- Prepare sales and administrative reports.
- Communicate with management, staff, customers, vendors, and partners.
- Own all aspects of the sales process.
- Maintain a calendar of client calls, travel, and sales activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in field sales leadership within DoD or Federal markets.
- Success leading quota-carrying sales teams.
- Strong understanding of Federal procurement, contracting, and customer environments.
- Prior military service preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
