Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a globally distributed team of analysts and data scientists, setting standards for quality and execution.
• Manage the portfolio of data science initiatives, balancing short-term needs with long-term capability building.
• Translate business questions into actionable analytics work and ensure disciplined execution.
• Partner with business leaders to identify high-value analytics opportunities and influence decisions.
• Define and uphold data science standards, ensuring rigor, quality, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with data management and IT to operationalize solutions and track business value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (advanced degree preferred).
• 8–12+ years of experience delivering data science and analytics solutions.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership experience, including performance management and team development.
• Experience leading global or offshore teams (e.g., U.S./India).
• Experience in Retirement, Workplace, Wealth, or broader Financial Services.
• Strong ability to partner with business leaders and translate analytics into business impact.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex data science concepts.
• Experience with modern analytics platforms, AI technologies, and automation.
• Comfortable leading through ambiguity and competing priorities.
