DevOps Engineer

Location: Philippines (remote with occasional onsite activities)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or scripted solutions
• Work with containerization tools (Docker or Podman), including image creation and registry management
• Collaborate on backend development using Node.js frameworks (Express.js, Koa, NestJS, or Bun-based libraries)
• Contribute to frontend development using React or Next.js when needed
• Ensure system reliability, security, and performance across environments
• Support day-to-day development and operational tasks as required

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, and RDS
• Proficiency in security controls and cloud monitoring tools such as CloudWatch
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker
• Experience with Kubernetes or willingness to learn
• Solid understanding of full-stack concepts to support smooth application deployment
• Managed at least four to five applications end-to-end
• Experience implementing Identity and Access Management strategies and understanding project segmentation into private networks or sandbox environments
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Familiarity with tools such as PM2 for Node.js applications and Docker for modern deployments
• Diligent in documenting work and maintaining clear technical records
• Comfortable working with or alongside AI tools and agents
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple systems and environments effectively
• Availability to work Monday to Friday (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Manila Time)
