Designer

Forbes is seeking a talented Designer for its Multiplatform Content Design team to create high-impact digital experiences leveraging visual, UX, and motion design. The role involves collaboration across internal teams and with leading brands, focusing on premium content, social media, pre-sale work, and live event content.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Craft compelling, user-focused designs for on- and off-platform brand experiences, including immersive articles, landing pages, interactive features, and videos.
• Translate client briefs and content goals into visual concepts, managing the design from initial direction to final delivery.
• Partner with branded content editors to create coherent content experiences.
• Uphold editorial standards and client brand guidelines across multiple projects.
• Design and produce social content such as carousels, GIFs, motion graphics, and short videos tailored to each platform.
• Develop social-first concepts that extend campaigns and adapt to trends.
• Use social performance data to inform creative decisions and improve engagement.
• Create pre-sale mockups and concept designs to support proposals.
• Help develop a library of templates and reusable assets.
• Design content recaps, highlight assets, and graphics for live events.
• Manage workload, meet deadlines, and explore new tools and technologies, including AI-assisted workflows.
• Participate in team sessions, give and receive feedback, and contribute to creative quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital/interaction design, preferably in editorial, branded content, or agency environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful design solutions.
• Strong visual communication skills, including layout, hierarchy, typography, and color.
• Experience designing for social platforms with platform-specific knowledge.
• Proficiency in motion design.
• Ability to work in fast-turnaround, pitch-oriented environments.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
