Design Supervisor Visual Storytelling

The ESPN Creative Studio is seeking a Design Supervisor for its award-winning Visual Storytelling team. The role involves leading a team of creative professionals to develop impactful design solutions across ESPN's platforms, including on-air branding, digital content, and marketing campaigns.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $88,700–$140,250/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of designers, fostering growth and communication.
• Manage the design and production of creative deliverables to meet needs.
• Review and approve creative work, ensuring quality standards.
• Partner with stakeholders across content, marketing, and ad sales to create design solutions.
• Implement new strategies to improve workflows.
• Translate objectives into work plans and procedures.
• Push for creative excellence and innovation.
• Prepare and present creative concepts to stakeholders.
• Build, lead, and develop a talented design team.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and implement training programs.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a creative studio or media organization.
• Understanding of industry trends and a collaborative attitude.
• Proven project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
