Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data models for core package application and reporting databases.
- Monitor execution and performance of daily pipelines, troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models and pipelines.
- Implement processes to monitor data quality.
- Write unit/integration tests, document work.
- Perform data analysis to troubleshoot data issues.
- Support data integration solutions within AWS/Linux cloud systems.
- Work closely with frontend/backend engineers, product managers, and analysts.
- Collaborate with team members and share knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS services including S3, Athena, EC2, EMR, and Glue.
- Ability to solve issues with operating clusters.
- Experience with data integration from multiple sources.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQLServer, Redshift, Postgres, RDS.
- Experience with data integration platforms like Pentaho Kettle, SnapLogic, Talend, Jitterbit, Informatica PowerCenter.
- Knowledge of IT operations in high-availability services.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Experience with managing large data stores.
- Awareness of Data governance and data quality principles.
- Knowledge of Business Analytics and metrics.
- Understanding of Integration architecture and data flow diagrams.
- Familiarity with Web Services: XML, REST, SOAP.
- Experience with Git or similar version control.
- Experience with BI tools like GoodData, Tableau, PowerBI.
- Broad experience with RDBMS: MS SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift.
- Familiarity with SaaS/cloud data systems like Salesforce.
- Data warehouse design: star-schemas, change data capture, denormalization.
- SQL/DDL queries and tuning techniques.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of Data Pipeline development experience.
- 3+ years of SQL experience.
