Data Analyst

Stio® is an omni-channel mountain brand that designs, develops and sells apparel, footwear, and accessories inspired by mountain life, with a focus on sustainability and inclusion. The company is based in Jackson, Wyoming, and operates through various channels including online, catalog, and retail locations.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $85,000–$100,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across various departments to translate questions into analyses, dashboards, and data products.
• Build and maintain dbt models for trustworthy datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for daily operations.
• Own metric definitions and drive alignment among stakeholders.
• Review and validate AI-generated SQL, dbt models, and Python code.
• Investigate ambiguous data questions and improve data models.
• Help build and maintain data infrastructure (Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, GitHub, Power BI, R, Python).
• Improve data governance through documentation.
• Continuously develop skills in data analytics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role.
• Advanced SQL skills, including CTEs and window functions.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, including models, tests, and documentation.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
• Version control with Git/GitHub.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development for analytics.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders.
• Comfort presenting findings verbally, in writing, and visually.

Additional Information

• Base salary range: $85,000-$100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Remote work, with 50-75% stationary position requirement.
• Job may be revised or expanded as needed.
