Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Gathering, interpreting, analyzing, and visualizing large and complex datasets to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Design, build, and maintain visual representations of data through charts, graphs, and dashboards.
• Summarizing and presenting findings from data analysis in reports, slide decks, or presentations.
• Ensuring data quality and integrity through quality checks and validation procedures.
• Identifying patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets to support business objectives.
• Applying statistical methods and hypothesis testing to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to data-driven initiatives.
• Staying updated with industry trends, new analytical techniques, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
• At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization.
• 5+ years of data engineering development experience in Snowflake.
• Proficient in application of DBT.
• Proficient in Snowflake services such as SnowSight, Snowpipe, stages, stored procedures, views, materialized views, tasks, and streams.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data sets and Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Experience with data modeling and schema design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor junior analysts.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integrity.
• Attention to detail and project management skills.
