Customer Relations Advisor | Remote Position

Camden is hiring Customer Relations Advisors to support residents and prospects across various communities nationwide. The role involves handling leasing inquiries, service requests, emergency work orders, and community-related questions via multiple digital platforms, requiring multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $21–$29/hr

Responsibilities

  • Assist potential residents with leasing information, quotes, and scheduling appointments.
  • Showcase community features to prospective residents.
  • Assist current residents with maintenance requests, emergency dispatch, and community questions.
  • Accurately capture resident and prospect information for communication and record-keeping.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, SMS, and chat in a timely manner.
  • Escalate issues when necessary.
  • Use problem-solving skills to handle unpredictable situations.
  • Meet performance standards including schedule adherence, handle time, productivity, and call quality.
  • Contribute to departmental goals.
  • Spend approximately 95% of scheduled time taking calls, with 5% on training and education.
  • Assist with additional projects and activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a customer-related field required; multi-family industry or contact center experience preferred.
  • Strong customer-focused attitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to relocate if needed during outages.
  • Willingness to attend work-related events, meetings, and trainings, possibly requiring travel.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a stable internet connection via Ethernet.
  • Adhere to professional image guidelines and be available on camera.
  • Responsible for suitable workspace and equipment.
  • Work schedule may be adjusted as needed.
