CMMC Certified Assessor (CCP)

Responsibilities

• Assess whether members of the DIB have adequately prepared for compliance with CMMC regulations.
• Participate in evaluating an organization’s readiness for assessment, including collecting and examining evidence, observing, testing, analyzing results, scoring OSC practices, validating preliminary results, generating preliminary report findings, and finalizing assessment reports.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of the controls and implementation of DFARS Clause 252.204-7012 (NIST 800-171).
• Experience building reports that communicate assessment objectives.
• Ability to track detailed tasks and ensure timely delivery.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking and ability to balance security with mission needs.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to coordinate, prioritize, and adapt.

Additional Information

• Position is full-time remote with occasional travel.
• Must be US citizen and possess completed Tier 3 Suitability with Cyber AB.
• Required certifications include Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in IT Security/Cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in client-facing risk assessment or consulting in a Federal environment.
• Additional certifications like CISSP, CISM, FedRAMP experience, DIB experience, or studying for CCA are a plus.
