Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Seeking a highly driven Cloud Infrastructure & Security Engineer to design, build, and operate a robust Azure cloud platform, leading modern DevOps practices and ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Design & Deploy Azure infrastructure.
• Automate using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Own cloud environment architecture including networking and access control.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Optimize deployment reliability and speed.
• Standardize build and release processes across engineering teams.
• Implement and maintain FedRAMP-compliant controls.
• Apply RBAC, Azure Policy, and logging/monitoring best practices.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Improve system availability, reliability, and speed.
• Act as a link between engineering and security.
• Define and enforce cloud best practices.
• Mentor engineers and foster collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Deep expertise in Terraform (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar).
• Solid understanding of Azure networking (VNet, private endpoints, NSGs) and Identity & Access Management (Entra ID, RBAC).
• Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP preferred).
• Proven troubleshooting and operational skills for complex production systems.
