Claims Adjuster - Commercial Auto Liability - Property Damage

The role involves processing insurance claims, evaluating policy coverage, coordinating with various stakeholders, and preparing reports. It requires handling claims efficiently and professionally, with a focus on coverage analysis and settlement within authority.

Responsibilities

• Review policy to determine if loss is covered and hire attorney for coverage analysis if questionable.
• Settle claims within settlement authority.
• Work with adjusters, insureds, attorneys, agents, and others to ensure efficient and professional claim handling.
• Oversee vendors for accuracy in reporting and audit invoices.
• Process incoming and outgoing claims and vendor payments.
• Perform claim status requests and updates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Claims Adjuster's license.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and adhere to organizational policies.
• Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight.
