California Licensed Therapist, W2 Part Time (CA Residents)

Headspace is seeking part-time licensed therapists in California to provide tele-therapy services through their app, offering flexible scheduling and a range of mental health support options to members.

Location: California, USA

Salary: $75–$80/hr

Responsibilities

• Offer a minimum of 5 therapy sessions per week, with flexibility to increase sessions during peak demand.
• Provide high-quality tele-therapy via HIPAA-compliant video platform.
• Complete and document clinical case notes within 48 hours of sessions.
• Maintain and update licensure and availability information.
• Communicate regularly with clinical leadership.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Be willing to obtain licensure in additional states as needed.

Requirements

• Willingness and confidence to integrate technology into care.
• Clinical competence in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.).
• Knowledge of current research and culturally responsive care.
• Familiarity with technology and EMR systems.
• Licensed Psychologist or master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or relevant field.
• Licensed in CA and reside in CA.
