Brand Designer

Symbiotic is a financial infrastructure company that operates beneath collateral markets, enabling capital to secure obligations and be enforced by code. It supports onchain collateral, new neofinance applications, and connects capital and risk in the onchain economy, backed by major investors and powering numerous vaults and active participants.

Responsibilities

• Own visual output across brand, campaigns, web, social, and launch moments, from concept to shipped asset.
• Turn complex financial infrastructure and products into visual representations that are understandable.
• Set and maintain the visual system as the company scales, ensuring consistency across all outputs.
• Support event and content collateral, including high-impact visuals for conferences, whitepapers, and blogs.
• Optimize assets for Web3 platforms, ensuring responsiveness and adherence to crypto trends.
• Produce motion and 3D work for product explainers, launch films, and conference presence.

Requirements

• Fast and good at design, able to demonstrate both speed and quality with specific portfolio pieces.
• Deep expertise in one or two areas such as brand, motion, or 3D, with competence across others.
• Self-directed with experience in scoping, sequencing, and driving projects independently.
• Proactive in pitching ideas and advocating for design directions.
• Receptive to direct feedback and able to work in a fast, transparent environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating real range and work that has been shipped, ideally from concept to live under time pressure.

Additional Information

• Nice to have: experience in crypto or fintech, in-house experience at an early-stage company, and strong 3D or motion skills.
