Bilingual Legal Virtual Assistant - California Personal Injury

A Bilingual Legal Virtual Assistant supporting a California-based Personal Injury law firm by managing case files, client communication, and medical records retrieval in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

• Handle new client onboarding, collect accident data, and file initial claims with auto insurance carriers.
• Proactively request, follow up on, and organize medical records, billing statements, and lien balances from healthcare providers.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, answering questions and providing case updates in English and Spanish.
• Communicate daily with insurance adjusters to verify policy limits, obtain claim numbers, and track claim status.
• Update and maintain electronic case files within cloud-based case management software.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience supporting a U.S. or California-based personal injury law firm in a virtual or remote capacity.
• Native or near-native fluency in written and spoken Spanish, with excellent English grammar and verbal skills.
• Understanding of California personal injury protocols, including HIPAA authorizations, medical provider liens, and auto insurance claim processes.
• Ability to work standard business hours aligned with U.S. Pacific Time Zone.
• High comfort level utilizing legal case management systems (e.g., Filevine, Clio, Litify), VOIP phone systems (e.g., RingCentral), and standard office software.
• Dedicated, quiet home office setup with high-speed, reliable internet.
