Automation Test Engineer

Seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Salesforce applications, automation tools, and AI-based testing to ensure quality across development lifecycle within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, and Playwright
• Utilize AI capabilities for self-healing locators, test data generation, and root cause analysis
• Use AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency, generate test cases, capture evidence, auto-generate scripts, and identify manual scenarios
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team to implement in-sprint automation
• Perform manual and functional testing for new features and edge cases
• Lead functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing across platforms
• Develop and execute API test cases with SoapUI and Postman
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test results and work with teams to resolve issues
• Maintain test environments, data, and frameworks
• Maintain automation regression suites
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices
• Explore/innovate automation solutions for complex applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing (Salesforce Sales/Service/Experience Cloud/FSC)
• Experience with AI-assisted testing platforms and generative AI tools
• Proficiency in Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Provar, Playwright
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks (POM, data-driven, hybrid)
• Experience testing RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth, workflows
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum and in-sprint automation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance (plus)
• Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Experience with Salesforce OmniStudio and Lightning Web Components (plus)
• Exposure to performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Understanding of Salesforce platform components (plus)
