Associate Implementation Specialist (Remote, Any State, US)

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for end-to-end delivery of Group Benefit Solutions product implementations for new and existing clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality execution. The role involves managing implementation processes, providing client guidance, and coordinating with internal teams in a fully remote setting.

Location: Remote

Salary: $65,000-$85,000

Responsibilities

  • Owns the full lifecycle of assigned implementations, including enrollment readiness, data exchange setup, contract delivery, configuration, premium administration actions, and transition to service.
  • Leads implementations independently with accountability for timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Establishes and manages milestone timelines, proactively identifying risks and driving resolution.
  • Coordinates and aligns internal stakeholders including Data Exchange, Premium Administration, Enrollment, Contracts, Configuration, Claims, Sales, and Account Management.
  • Ensures deliverables meet standards, processes, and service expectations.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation throughout the process.
  • Serves as primary implementation lead and point of contact for clients, brokers, and internal partners.
  • Provides guidance and education on plan design, enrollment, data exchange, and workflows.
  • Interprets client needs into operational requirements.
  • Advises clients on processes, timelines, risks, and best practices.
  • Manages expectations through communication and issue resolution.
  • Applies knowledge of Group Benefit products to ensure client readiness.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in insurance, benefits, or related industry.
  • 1–2 years of client-facing or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Group Benefit products.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment within policies.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
