Assistant Professor (Full-Time), Public Health, GuidedPath

Assistant Professors are full-time faculty responsible for teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, and participating in university governance, with a focus on online education in the field of public health.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $75,800.00 - $113,700.00

Responsibilities

• Teaching and Instruction – engaging in courses and residencies, improving course performance, and enhancing learner experience.
• Doctoral Mentoring – guiding learners through dissertation and capstone processes, chairing and serving on doctoral committees.
• Curriculum and Course Development – designing and improving courses, ensuring diversity and inclusiveness.
• School and University Governance – participating in committees and leadership roles.
• Professional Service and Practice – contributing to communities, institutions, and professional organizations.
• Research and Scholarship – staying current, publishing, presenting, and attending conferences.
• Leadership through Team Engagement – taking on roles, contributing ideas, and supporting university needs.
• Specialized responsibilities in support of educational goals, such as Learner Management, Research, Program Development, Accreditation.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in public health.
• Expertise in biostatistics, epidemiology, policy analysis, or program evaluation.
• Experience in public health research and presenting at conferences.
• Two or more years of online teaching experience (preferred).
• Background in qualitative research, GIS, financial or project management (preferred).
• Higher education teaching experience (preferred).
• Mentoring doctoral students (preferred).
• Curriculum development experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of CEPH standards and curriculum development (preferred).
• Membership in educational leadership organizations (preferred).
