AI Engineer

Sharebite is a meal benefits platform that donates meals to combat food insecurity. The company is seeking an AI Engineer to develop AI solutions for its product and operations, initially starting as a Full-Stack Engineer.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $110,000–$130,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features across the product.
• Develop understanding of systems, data models, and business logic.
• Identify automation opportunities.
• Design and build AI agents and workflows.
• Integrate LLMs into product workflows.
• Evaluate and improve AI systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
• Help define responsible AI engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• 1–2 years of AI engineering experience with LLM-powered systems.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or AWS Bedrock.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), vector databases, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Clear communication skills.
