Optimum7 is a performance-driven B2B eCommerce growth agency seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join their remote team. The role involves editing videos for social media, ads, and YouTube, with a focus on storytelling, trend awareness, and platform optimization.

Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short and long-form videos for social media, ads, and YouTube using Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
• Cut, sequence, and pace footage into polished stories with smooth transitions, captions, and sound design.
• Design motion graphics and simple animations like titles, lower thirds, and callouts.
• Add subtitles, captions, and on-screen text in clear, accurate English.
• Optimize videos for each platform like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Bring fresh, creative ideas to formats, hooks, and edits by keeping up with the latest social and video trends.
• Organize and manage project files, footage, and assets.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content team to turn briefs into finished videos.

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English.
• Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut.
• Solid mid-level editing skills: cutting, pacing, transitions, color correction, audio, and captions.
• A creative, trend-aware mindset.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote environment.
• Some editing experience through personal projects, freelance work, or a portfolio.
