Unmanned Systems (UxS) Chief Engineer

The Unmanned Systems (UxS) Chief Engineer is responsible for leading strategy and technical execution for a large intel-focused organization, specializing in unmanned systems and undersea warfare technologies, supporting Navy programs.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $114,600–$252,100

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategy for a large intel focused organization for improving and creating processes or systems.
• Communicate with internal and external organizations including customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Review and collaborate with site lead to ensure successful technical execution across programs.
• Recommend innovative ideas and solutions for customer requirements.
• Support the development of a cohesive technology strategy aligned with business pursuits.
• Participate in analysis of alternatives, task planning, scope definition, and risk management.
• Generate and support publication of technical briefs, white papers, and proposals.
• Support technical meetings and program reviews.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet objectives.
• Analyze systems and processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master of Science in engineering or equivalent with at least 10 years of DoD engineering or management experience.
• Minimum 8-10 years of engineering management experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Proven problem-solving skills and results-based performance.
• Strong customer relation skills and experience in technical meetings.
• Excellent written communication skills, experience with white papers and proposals.
