Technical Writer

A remote position for a Technical Writer at Sakshi, an organization focused on gender equality and transformative justice in India. The role involves developing program concepts, strategy documents, reports, and IEC materials to support programmatic engagements.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Developing programme concepts and proposals based on briefs and RFPs.
• Drawing strategic documents such as vision documents, theory of change, and other visibility materials.
• Expanding the Results Measurement Framework based on the Theory of Change.
• Preparing detailed reports for programmatic engagements, events, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Researching and assisting in the development of IEC materials for training workshops on Prevention of Gender Based Violence, Team Building, and Strengthening.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Women’s Studies, Sociology.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Strong research and writing skills to gather gender-based information from multiple sources.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Passion for creating compelling content.
