Support Engineer

Support Engineer role for a company building the future of RMM, requiring extensive MSP or enterprise IT experience, with responsibilities including support, onboarding, automation, and customer engagement.

Location: Remote

Salary: $30–40 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Own the full inbound support queue, respond to customer questions, diagnose issues, QA features, and write findings for engineering.
  • Meet newly signed customers, understand their infrastructure, onboard them, and train their team.
  • Join live support sessions, resolve issues, and be the face of Level support.
  • Build reusable automations, record how-to videos, keep documentation, and support community outreach.

Requirements

  • 10+ years hands-on MSP technician or internal IT experience managing large-scale environments.
  • Deep experience with at least one major RMM platform.
  • Strong Windows, macOS, and Linux skills.
  • Strong scripting in PowerShell and Bash.
  • Experience managing 500+ endpoints, preferably 1,000+.
  • Comfortable with customer-facing sessions and technical communication.
  • Self-directed, organized, with diagnostic instincts.
  • Heavy use of AI tools like ChatGPT.
