Strategic Operations Associate

A1 is developing a proactive AI smart assistant focused on high reliability for long workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion, requiring multi-step reasoning and external tool interaction.

Location: South Korea

Responsibilities

• Drive local market entry from strategy to execution
• Build and execute hiring plans for high-caliber talent
• Support fundraising efforts including preparing materials and investor coordination
• Establish A1’s presence in local market including office setup and vendor relations
• Support external positioning through PR, partnerships, and relationships
• Turn ambiguous ideas into clear plans and ensure execution
• Act as a central operator across teams, tracking priorities and resolving bottlenecks
• Handle high-urgency, unstructured problems with speed and sound judgment

Requirements

• Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
• Strong generalist able to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
• High agency and proactive in figuring things out
• Strong judgment for prioritization and decision-making with incomplete information
• Clear and concise communication skills, comfortable with senior stakeholders and external partners
• High reliability and consistent follow-through
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
