Staff UI/UX Product Designer (USA/EMEA - Remote)

Location: Remote (US, EU, Australia)

Salary: USD $136,551.16–$190,802.56 (US), or equivalent in other regions, total compensation including equity and performance bonuses

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to execution, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and interaction design.
• Develop and maintain a consistent design language and style guide that reflects the company's brand and product vision.
• Leverage data, user feedback, and research to refine the user journey.
• Drive the overall design vision for the product, aligned with the company's long-term strategy and values.
• Inspire the team with innovative ideas and a commitment to creating a product that users love and remember.

Requirements

• Proven ability to lead design projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Very senior experience in UI/UX design for a SaaS product, with a world-class portfolio.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Whimsical and Figma.
• Ability to think outside the box and push conventional design boundaries.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Deep passion for design, keen eye for detail, and understanding of what makes a product exceptional.
• Attention to detail, including personal touches like remembering favorite ice cream flavors.
• Bonus: experience as a short-term rental/Airbnb host or working in the short-term rental business.
