Staff Software Engineer, Product

This is a remote role for candidates located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The role involves building and shipping AI-powered features in a product engineering environment, with a focus on impact and ownership.

Location: Belo Horizonte, Brazil

Salary: USD $80,000–$100,000 annual base

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical approach including architecture, data model, integration, rollout, observability, and rollback strategies.
• Ensure implementation quality through prompts, guardrails, evals, tests, and review loops for AI agents.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and engineering peers.
• Own the outcome of initiatives, including post-launch metric review.

Requirements

• Deep skill in at least one of the tech stacks (AI agents, backend, frontend, data, infra, documentation).
• Credible production experience with AI coding agents.
• Operating at a lead level with decision-making authority.
• Outcome-driven with a focus on metrics and impact.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Decisive, documented decision-maker with architectural and rollout experience.
• Customer- and pro-minded with a marketplace focus.
