Staff Product Engineer

LawnStarter is expanding its engineering team with a focus on AI-driven initiatives, where engineers lead AI agents to ship impactful features in a marketplace environment.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: USD $80,000–$100,000 annual base

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical approach including architecture, data model, integration, observability, and rollback strategies.
• Ensure the quality, safety, and velocity of AI agents implementing code.
• Partner with product managers and designers daily, and with engineering managers weekly.
• Own the outcome of initiatives, including post-launch review and metric analysis.
• Maintain high standards for production correctness, security, performance, and user experience.

Requirements

• Deep skill in AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or internal stack).
• Credible production experience with AI-driven code shipping.
