Sr. Data Analytics Engineer (Remote, US)

The role involves providing high-quality data modeling and visualization solutions to support business decision-making within a modernized data platform. It requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and supporting enterprise analytics operations.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $165,564.00 to $188,089.20 per year

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and performant data modeling and visualizations solutions to cross-functional business units.
• Participate in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of a modern data platform.
• Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Platform Engineers, and Data Governance teams.
• Model, design, develop, test, and implement backend and front-end structures for reporting.
• Build dashboards, integrate with backend data models, and manage data flow for dashboards.
• Perform data formatting, processing, and transformation using ETL tools.
• Gather and develop functional and technical requirements from the business community.
• Manage the full lifecycle of data development from requirements to reporting.
• Follow development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot data anomalies and support daily data warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure performance and access.
• Improve data flow and quality processes.
• Document development work for knowledge transfer.
• Educate the business community on self-serve reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role.
• 2+ years of experience with SAP HANA, Business Objects, and SAC platform stack.
• 2+ years of experience in Data Modelling for SAC Analytics.
• 3+ years of experience with Tableau platform.
• 2+ years of experience with dbt as a data orchestration tool.
• 2+ years of experience working within CICD frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience with Snowflake VWH and data modeling.
• Knowledge of HVR replication, Python, Java, data architecture, SQL, and data transformation.
