Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Taylor Corporation, a large print and communications firm, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst for Venture Solutions to build tools that modernize customer communications. The role involves testing web-based applications, defect tracking, and supporting customer issues.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Ongoing functional testing of web-based applications and document production software.
• Ownership of testing for multiple customer projects.
• Creation of detailed test plans and test cases.
• Defect reporting, tracking, and analysis.
• Timely communication of progress to manager.
• Providing 2nd tier customer support as needed.
• Performing day-to-day testing activities.
• Contributing ideas to improve testing processes and product quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven capability in test planning, test case creation, and documentation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently and in teams.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with Waterfall methodology.
