Software Engineer, Tools & Services

Basis is seeking a software engineer with a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, Java, micro-services architecture, and experience with Agile SDLC and CI/CD. The role involves developing and maintaining software solutions in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Location: Remote (US and Canada)

Salary: $90k–$134k

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Java, Spring, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of micro-services architecture.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• 2+ years of experience with Java, multithreading, micro-services architecture.
• Coding skills in Java, Spring, JUnit.
• Understanding of Agile SDLC and CI/CD.
