Software Development Engineer (SDE-3)

OneDirect is hiring for a Software Development Engineer III (SDE III) role, focusing on building and scaling enterprise SaaS products in the customer experience domain. The role involves collaboration, technical leadership, and development of robust systems for B2B clients.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine requirements for software development
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping features
• Communicate concepts and guidelines to the development team
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior developers
• Ensure software meets quality, security, modifiability, extensibility requirements
• Approve final product before launch

Requirements

• Proven experience as Software Architect or Principal engineer
• Experience in software development and coding in Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of designing and developing Microservices
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Hibernate, Kafka, Redis, etc.
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Good knowledge of design and development of Distributed Systems
• Proven experience on Cloud platforms - AWS/Azure/GCP
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
