Service Consultant - Maschinenraum Crew

The role involves managing and developing IT services within a team, focusing on operational stability, automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing. It is suitable for individuals with experience in IT operations, automation, and service management.

Location: Remote (Germany)

Responsibilities

• Overtaking SPOC role with team rotation and planning
• Developing operational concepts for responsible services
• Proactive service operation including automation and ticket handling
• Updating operational documentation
• Responsible development of operational concepts for specific services such as Infrastructure as a Service, Defender Service, and Exchange Online
• Enhancing service delivery based on performance descriptions
• Documenting processes and creating checklists for service handover
• Collaborating with Process Owner ITSM to improve service descriptions
• Knowledge development and training within the team

Requirements

• Experience in IT operations and ITSM processes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, M365, and Windows Server
• Optional certifications in Microsoft technologies
• Structured documentation and concept development skills
• Experience with automation tools like PowerShell, Bicep
• Self-organization skills for remote work
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to share knowledge and conduct training
