Senior Software Engineer - C++ Linux & Cloud Workload Security

Salary: $128,000—$176,000 USD

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new detection capabilities for Linux and container security technologies.
• Design detection strategies and algorithms.
• Work on low-level Kernel hooks and system engineering challenges.
• Enhance security for Linux and cloud workloads platforms.
• Conduct low-level research and develop new features.
• Participate in peer code reviews and design reviews.
• Learn new technologies in Linux and cloud security domains.
• Architect end-to-end security solutions for complex features.
• Model and prototype solutions for complex problems.
• Support customers with issues and requests.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, developing complex systems in modern C++.
• Proficient in Linux OS architecture, security, and internals.
• Hands-on experience with Linux low-level development and debugging.
• Experience working on production-grade products with large-scale deployment.
• Linux kernel development or kernel tracing.
• Hands-on experience with eBPF.
• Knowledge of container internals, platforms, and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Linux networking subsystem.
• Software development experience in Rust, Go, or Python.
