Senior Software Engineer (AI-Enabled) - Brazil

A senior Software Craftsperson role focused on building well-crafted, maintainable, and valuable software, with an emphasis on AI-enabled practices and cross-stack expertise.

Responsibilities

• Help clients build well-crafted, maintainable, and valuable software.
• Solve complex software challenges and improve engineering practices.
• Adopt AI-enabled ways of working responsibly and effectively.
• Work across client teams, supporting technical decision-making and architectural direction.
• Share knowledge and raise engineering standards.

Requirements

• Extensive professional software engineering experience at senior, staff, principal, lead, or architect level.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Strong engineering fundamentals: design, testing, refactoring, architecture, delivery, maintainability, and production-readiness.
• Ability to work across different languages, stacks, and domains.
• Experience working in autonomous environments.
• Good understanding of modern AI tools and how they can be used in professional software engineering.
• Practical exposure to AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
• Experience integrating AI tools into engineering workflows.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication skills.
