Responsibilities

• API manual functional testing using Postman.
• Good debugging skills.
• Expertise in Web /mweb/ App Manual testing.
• Understanding of Testing concepts and terminologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile concepts.
• Good to have SQL knowledge.
• Automation / Execution or scripting experience is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in teams, and planning skills.
• Creating test schedules, test cases, test plans, impact analysis, and reporting test results.
• Driving quality-centric software development methodologies.
• Understanding software internals, debugging with logs, and network calls.

Requirements

• Experience in Web Services (API) testing using REST.
• Experience in a product-based company/startup.
• Proficient with Postman, Rest Client, Selenium, and JMeter.
• Solid API testing experience.
• Understanding of bug lifecycle and defect management.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in cross-browser testing.
• Hands-on automation testing in Web/Mobile apps is a plus.
• Exposure to Postman, Jira, and Git.
• Automation with Rest-assured/Selenium is a plus.
