Senior Project Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering, execution, and delivery of industrial control and automation projects, acting as the main technical interface with customers and coordinating across teams.

Location: Colombia

Responsibilities

• Execute control and automation projects using Rockwell Automation technologies, including PLCs, DCS, HMI/SCADA, and industrial networks.
• Develop and review control system architectures, functional specifications, and technical designs following project requirements and industry standards.
• Lead basic and detailed engineering activities, including software development, system integration, and technical documentation.
• Manage in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Be a primary technical contact with the customer during project execution.
• Collaborate with sales, global engineering, supply chain, panel builders, quality, and HSE teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify technical risks and deviations, proposing and implementing mitigation actions.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, progress reports, and technical deliverables for customers and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control, Mechatronics, or related discipline).
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
