Senior Manager Collaboration and Messaging

Leidos is seeking a Senior Manager, Collaboration and Messaging to lead strategy and operations for enterprise collaboration capabilities, including Microsoft 365 and Slack, with a focus on modernization, user experience, and business value.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $131,300.00 - $237,350.00

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team supporting enterprise collaboration and messaging platforms.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, engineering, and support functions for high availability and performance.
• Drive accountability, performance management, and career development.
• Manage team capacity, workload prioritization, and resource planning.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in collaboration/messaging technologies.
• At least 4 years leading teams.
• Strong background in Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience with email security platforms like Proofpoint.
• Experience with compliance frameworks, identity and access management, data governance, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with Exchange and SharePoint on-prem environments.
• Experience with SharePoint workflow/automation tools like Nintex or Power Platform.
• Knowledge of M365 Enterprise Licensing and managing services within an E5 (GCC-High preferred).
• Experience with merger and acquisition integrations for collaboration tools.
• Experience in service management, system lifecycle management, and enterprise IT operations.
• Experience in stakeholder collaboration and business/customer relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills bridging technical and business perspectives.
