Senior Java Developer With Liferay - Full Remote

A full remote (Senior) Java Developer role for an international organization in Europe, requiring Liferay knowledge and experience, with responsibilities including content import, website development, and module creation.

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

• Create a utility to import content from the OpenCms to Liferay DXP: Static and structure content; Metadata, taxonomy, and tags; Multilingual content
• Create multilingual websites; Integrate LDAP, create users, groups roles, and permissions
• Create themes, layouts, page templates, and fragments (design elements) based on Web Style Guide (Responsive Web Design)
• Create workflows
• Create user dashboards
• Develop Liferay custom modules (portlets, hooks) based on application requirements
• Integrate Google search
• Provide daily updates and alias with other team members
• Other related tasks as required

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree or comparable through experience
• +5/+10 years of Java Development experience
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Angular, JSON, XML
• Expert in the Liferay Web Content Management System (CMS) with Experience working on CMS migrations
• Extensive knowledge in Liferay themes and fragments development
• Extensive knowledge of Liferay out-of-box features and widgets
• Extensive knowledge of Liferay custom modules development and search integration
• Fluent in English

Additional Information

• Candidates need to be able to work the European schedule.
• During the corona crisis, interviews will be done through WEBEX, and travel is not required for the interviews.
• All positions are long-term.
