Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer, Identity & Auth Engineering

Dropbox is seeking an experienced engineer to re-architect its Identity systems to support its transition to a multi-product company. The role involves large-scale distributed systems design, API development, data migrations, and foundational work to enhance the Identity Platform at scale.

Location: Remote (Canada)

Salary: $190,400—$257,600 CAD

• Collaborate with product engineering and internal teams to implement wide-ranging use cases for Identity.
• Deliver high-quality work with a bias for action.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team building.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, upholding company values.
• Ensure software and architecture excellence through quality feedback, risk mitigation, and alignment with technical and business goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering or related industry experience.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting high QPS platform services in production.
• Experience executing on a system-focused roadmap for major distributed systems at scale.
