Senior Fullstack Engineer

WearLinq is a healthcare startup emerging from Stanford University, developing innovative medical devices and digital health solutions. They are seeking a full-stack engineer to build their ECG diagnostics portal, with opportunities for growth and impact in healthcare technology.

Location: Remote (Poland)

Salary: $7k–$8k

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance backend microservices.
• Integrate data from AI/ML classification algorithms.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Development teams to create user experiences.
• Architect and implement data models, API functionality, and RESTful interfaces.
• Automate data flows while maintaining HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance.
• Manage code in GitHub and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, iOS, Android, QA, and management teams.
• Engage with hardware and medical professionals to ensure seamless user experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend technologies.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong skillset in Javascript (TypeScript preferred), Node.js, Next.js/React.
• Experience with dynamic front-end rendering techniques.
• Experience with modern AI workflows.
• Experience with AWS serverless, distributed computing, and big data.
• Experience managing infrastructure, databases, CI/CD, and DevOps, focusing on scalability and security.
• Experience integrating third-party solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Postgres or similar RDBMS.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Additional Information

• Role reports to Director of Software with exposure to leadership.
• Role involves building a Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) ECG diagnostics portal.
• Experience in FDA medical device regulatory environment and related standards is a plus.
