Vamo is innovating in heating technology with modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly heat pumps, HeatFleet, and a digital app to create a seamless experience for customers. The HeatOS team focuses on digitalizing and automating internal business processes, from lead management to operations and installation.
Location: Remote (Germany)
Responsibilities
- Lead the conception, development, and implementation of new, complex features for the website and business processes, including backend architecture with Node.js and frontend with Vue.js.
- Design, standardize, and implement robust, scalable APIs for website, CRM, and partner system integration.
- Establish and monitor high standards for code quality, maintainability, and testing (unit & integration tests).
- Design the architecture of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using technologies like Docker, Heroku, and MongoDB.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, architectures, and best practices to improve and future-proof the platform.
Requirements
- Practical experience in full-stack development, ideally in an agile startup environment as a lead or senior developer.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript for backend development, using Nest.js.
- Proficiency with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and deployment platforms (Heroku).
- Understanding of how technology contributes to business goals, software architecture, API design, and best practices.
- Proactive, solution-oriented working style, quick learner.
- Excellent communication skills, team player, able to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for clean code, technology, and innovative climate tech products.
- Experience with website, lead funnel, conversion optimization, and collaboration with sales and marketing.
- Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini).
- Fluent in English, German skills are a plus.
- Valid EU work visa.
