Senior Blockchain Engineer - Rust/Solana

MetaWealth is a promising fintech startup focused on tokenized assets and DeFi, with a multicultural, engineering-driven team. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop scalable back-end systems using microservices architecture, heavily assisted by AI.

Location: Bucharest, London, Marbella

Responsibilities

  • Understand and own the business domain and challenges
  • Create optimal domain driven architecture that will balance robustness and maintainability with the simplicity a start-up needs when accelerating
  • Build resilient microservices and APIs, fast.
  • Create or contribute to automated deployment pipeline and observability setup
  • Develop, test and deploy secure and maintainable code, heavily assisted by AI
  • Monitor production backend systems to ensure stability and performance
  • Closely work with and inspire peers including front-end and blockchain engineers, product team and business team

Requirements

  • 4+ years of building high-concurrency systems and APIs with GoLang (preferred) or NodeJS, using microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Congnito, Redis, SQS etc
  • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
  • Experience writing unit tests, load tests and other automated tests
  • Great at debugging production issues by assumption/validation, data extraction and analysis
  • Previous experience with Docker, K8s, GitHub Actions, Terraform
  • Ownership, speed, curiosity, result-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
