This role is for an experienced Software Engineer specializing in test automation, performance engineering, and cloud-native environments. The candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Location: Remote (Mexico)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Identify system bottlenecks through performance testing and analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve software quality and reliability.
• Translate complex quality risks into actionable engineering tasks.
• Mentor junior engineers to improve coding standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering and Test Automation.
• Deep understanding of modern software architecture including microservices, Docker, and cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, TypeScript, C#).
• Knowledge of industry-standard test design patterns and application to UI and API frameworks.
• Experience with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Postman, RestAssured.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, Locust.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Harness, BitBucket, Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud-based testing infrastructure like SauceLabs, BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex specifications.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Strong ownership and mentorship skills.
