Revenue Integrity Analyst (Remote)

Performing medical and revenue audits to ensure revenue integrity, compliance with regulations, and supporting third-party reimbursement negotiations within Duke Health's revenue cycle organization.

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

• Conducting quality control audits to ensure data/documentation integrity and communicate findings and recommendations.
• Serving as Subject Matter Expert on revenue integrity issues.
• Preparing reports and analyses on data integrity findings with recommendations.
• Following up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Reviewing payments for accuracy and managing appeals with payers.
• Providing analysis and negotiation support for third-party payer reimbursement contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, management, healthcare administration, nursing or related field.
• 3 years of experience in auditing and/or coding.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Coding certification (e.g., CCS, RHIA, RHIT) or applicable experience preferred.
