Remote SharePoint Architect, Professional Services (WV, US)

Softchoice is seeking a SharePoint Architect to design, plan, and implement SharePoint solutions for enterprise and public sector clients. The role involves technical leadership, client interaction, mentoring, and staying current with technological trends.

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver SharePoint solutions that meet client requirements and timelines.
• Serve as the technical authority on SharePoint projects, including upgrades, installations, configurations, migrations, security, administration, policy development, and user training.
• Work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of SharePoint in accordance with SLAs.
• Mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers, and Technicians, providing guidance on technical and soft skills.
• Function as a technical expert with strong customer interaction skills, advising on, implementing, and managing complex solutions.
• Pursue relevant training for SharePoint and stay updated on new trends and technological updates.
• Support other teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements requiring technical expertise.
• Model company values of personal growth, customer passion, caring for others, and owning results.
• Work in a highly visible, customer-facing role supporting detailed Statements of Work.
• Continuously improve delivery, adoption, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• 10+ years of client-facing professional services experience, with at least 3 years in an Architect role.
• Proven consulting experience in a similar role.
• Updated certifications including: MS-700, MS-102, SC-100, SC-300, SC-401, Sharegate, Quest ODM, SPMT.
