Regional Quality Manager, Midwest (Remote - Travel Required)

The Regional Quality Manager will oversee quality assurance and control processes for PV EPC projects in their assigned region, ensuring standards and regulations are met.

Location: Remote (Midwest, US)

Salary: $116,812.00 - $146,016.00

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans aligned with SOLV Energy’s Quality Management System, SOPs, and contract requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and improve quality systems for compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality through inspections and audits, ensuring adherence to standards and identifying improvements.
• Manage quality control processes including testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, and systems.
• Train and support project teams on quality assurance and control practices, SOPs, SWIs, MOPs, and reference guides.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to address quality issues.
• Document and report findings, maintain records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions, and prepare reports.
• Proficiently use SOLV’s Sunscreen software for documentation and quality management.
• Conduct audits on documentation, installation procedures, material handling, and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods, and create, implement, and monitor CAPAs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
• Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, or related fields are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety.
• Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in quality management software and tools.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
