Quality Specialist - Specialty Pharmacy

The Quality Specialist at House Rx is responsible for ensuring operational excellence through audits, performance metrics analysis, and supporting quality assurance initiatives in a remote specialty pharmacy setting.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits on order processing and patient/caregiver phone calls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company standards
- Document findings clearly and provide actionable feedback to relevant teams
- Track and report on quality metrics and team performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Partner with operations, training, and leadership teams to implement process improvements
- Support the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation and audit tools
- Assist with the creation and delivery of quality-focused training or coaching materials as needed
- Maintain strong working knowledge of platform workflows, SOPs, and clinic-specific requirements
- Escalate quality concerns and support remediation efforts in real-time
- Ensure that all services delivered meet or exceed House Rx’s standards for excellence
Requirements
- Strong foundation in pharmacy operations and passion for quality assurance
- Experience in processing claims, prior authorizations, and dispensing with attention to detail
- Experience with specialty medications and understanding of accuracy importance
- Skilled in identifying errors, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies—and solving them
- Ability to analyze data and synthesize insights
- Proficiency in reporting tools, spreadsheets, and data visualization preferred
- Enjoys working in dynamic, start-up environments where QA processes can be built from scratch
- Proactive, collaborative, and committed to delivering excellent patient experience
- Experience with auditing, QA, or compliance a plus
