Project Engineer

The Remote Project Engineer is responsible for completing innovative technology projects, enhancing system capabilities, and fostering collaboration to address client challenges. The role requires a candidate with approximately 5 years of experience in designing, testing, and deploying technology solutions.

Salary: $8.00/hour

Requirements

• Proven project execution expertise with a track record of successful implementations.
• Strong technical proficiency in infrastructure components and systems.
• Strong technical proficiency in configuring and deploying various infrastructure changes, including firewalls, servers, networking, and wireless.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system optimization.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a customer-centric approach to project execution.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Hands-on or remote deployment and troubleshooting experience for technologies including endpoints, servers, cloud technologies, networks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience with PSA tools or ticketing platforms like ConnectWise is a plus.
• Experience in MSP environments supporting multiple clients is a plus.
• Experience with RMM tools such as Kaseya or LabTech/ConnectWise Automate is a plus.
• Demonstrable experience in at least two of the following areas: Windows Server Environment Setup, Cloud Platform Deployments, Email Migration and Support, Data Storage Device Setup and Deployment.
• Preferred experience in Hypervisor Setup and Configuration, Cloud Platform Deployments like QuickBooks Online, Equipment Setup and Deployment from Cisco, Dell, SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti.
